Paul Williams, Argentum vice president of government relations, recently attended an event on behalf of Argentum Silver PAC for the re-election of Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) who serves as the Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee.
Congressman Brady discussed the tax reform efforts of the Ways and Means Committee, which will be responsible for putting together tax reform legislation. He indicated the House is working together with the Senate and the Administration on a proposal. Williams had the opportunity to discuss tax measures important to senior living providers, including the carried interest deduction, with the Chairman.
Representing a district that includes the Houston area of Texas, Chairman Brady is aware of the large positive impact senior living has in Texas, has been supportive of Argentum, and is appreciative of the support Silver PAC provides to him.
