Meetings scheduled for the Argentum Fly-In on March 21 are cancelled due to the inclement weather-related closure of the federal government.
This year at the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference, May 14-16, in San Diego, we’re introducing an exciting new format empowering attendees to create individualized learning experiences that drive actionable takeaways. Two unique learning paths will be available, providing opportunities that meet each attendee’s goals, whether to gather ideas and strategies from dynamic speakers or engage with peers in solutions-oriented discussions.
Dynamic mainstage presentations will host several of the world’s leading experts in workforce development, gerontology, resident programming, branding, building design, technology, and artificial intelligence. Global researcher Marcus Buckingham is among the lineup of impressive speakers. He will share ideas on how to best cultivate employees’ strengths to create a winning environment for staff and the organizations they work for. His current work as a talent expert at ADP Research Institute builds on nearly 20 years of experience as a senior researcher at Gallup Organization.
Former Airbnb chief marketing officer Jonathan Mildenhall, an expert on building a brand and deploying a culture of purpose, will also take the stage. He has extensive experience helping companies define their purpose and translate it into effective marketing. Additional mainstage speakers include Victor Regnier, a professor of architecture and gerontology at the University of Southern California, and IBM executive Lilian Myers, who leads the company’s Global Aging Initiative. Regnier’s work focuses on the design of housing and community settings for older adults; he has directed more than 20 research projects dealing with topics such as the behavioral impact of the environment on people with dementia. Myers helps governments, industries, and companies around the world, as they seek to develop products and tech-enabled services for consumers.
“We are so pleased to present a new conference format centered on the educational, networking, and solutions-focused needs senior living professionals most desire,” said James Balda, Argentum president and CEO. “The lineup of speakers is outstanding and is sure to provide attendees with actionable knowledge relevant to their day-to-day work.”
