Florida ALFA, the Florida chapter of the Assisted Living Federation of America, has awarded a public service achievement award to Elizabeth Dudek, Agency for Health Care Administration secretary.
“Secretary Dudek continues to be a leading voice on quality care and achieving a better quality of life for Florida’s seniors who reside in assisted living communities, and for these reasons, we are happy to present her with FL ALFA’s Public Service Achievement Award,” said Florida ALFA Executive Director Gail Matillo. “Secretary Dudek’s vision for Florida’s seniors is closely aligned with our own mission, and we are grateful for her leadership and collaborative nature when seeking to achieve the best possible quality of life for our seniors.”
FL ALFA is working closely with Florida’s lawmakers and Secretary Dudek to pass meaningful assisted living reform legislation, said Matillo. “To that end, we look forward to a thoughtful discussion about this important reform as it makes its way through the process and continuing to work with Secretary Dudek to achieve this collective goal.”
