RALEIGH, N.C.—Legacy Healthcare Services, a national therapy services provider, announced the promotion of Melissa Hale, OTR/L, to chief operating officer. The company also promoted Jeff Fink to vice president of human resources and administration.
Hale previously held the role of senior vice president of operations.
“Melissa Hale exemplifies the why, mission, vision, and values of Legacy in everything she does. She is a strong, empathetic leader. She and her team have masterfully led Legacy in the safe and effective treatment of our patients during this pandemic. I invite everyone to join me in congratulating Melissa for this well-deserved promotion,” said Jeff Ryan, CEO of Legacy.
Hale has worked for Legacy for over 12 years and has held multiple roles within the company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

She particularly enjoys partnering with customers to ensure complete satisfaction, fostering positive outcomes for residents, and assisting all them in realizing their goals and achieving financial success.
Fink has held the vice president of human resources role with Legacy for over five years but will oversee the administration department and duties from this point forward.
“Jeff Fink is an invaluable resource for all of us at Legacy. Over time, he has taken on more and more duties beyond human resources and he has executed flawlessly on those. I invite everyone to join me in congratulating Jeff for this well-deserved promotion,” said CEO Ryan.
