The Assisted Living Federation of America today announced that it is making substantial new investments in the executive education program the ALFA 2013 Conference & Expo, May 6-9, 2013 in Charlotte, N.C.

“A growing number of seniors and their families are turning to senior living communities for services, support and quality of life,” said Richard P. Grimes, president and CEO of the Assisted Living Federation of America.  “As a result, more executives are needed to lead teams focused on providing high quality senior care and services.  ALFA is well positioned in 2013 to address this challenge by doubling its commitment to executive development and facilitating world-class education sessions and peer to peer best practice sharing at the annual ALFA conference and expo. “

Executive-Level Education Focused on the Newest Topics and Trends in Senior Living

The ALFA 2013 Conference & Expo features more than 60 educational sessions, doubling the total number of sessions offered from last year.  Each session explores one of nine topics or trends shaping the senior living business today and offers the newest information and practical content customized for company, regional and community senior living executives.   Among the trends being explored are the increasing care needs of residents, impact of the Affordable Care Act, memory care programs and the integration of technology into senior living communities.
