New Perspective Senior Living To Develop New Senior Living Community In West Suburbs of Milwaukee

[current_event_date]

Waukesha, Wis.—To serve the growing demand for senior living in the west suburbs of Milwaukee, New Perspective Senior Living will break ground this Spring on a new 173,000 square-foot campus in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The multi-story structure being built on 7 acres at the southeast corner of Broadway and Highway 59 will offer independent living, assisting living and memory care services.

“We are expanding our presence in the west suburbs of Milwaukee to better support and serve seniors and their families locally and across the state,” said New Perspective President & Chief Financial Officer, Ryan Novaczyk. “Including the ongoing construction of the previously announced New Perspective – Franklin, WI, the Waukesha community will mark our eighth location in the state. Both communities will provide wonderful choices for area seniors seeking to age with vitality and purpose.”

New Perspective – Waukesha will feature a variety of amenities including a spacious two-story lobby and reception area with fireplaces, water features and a natural stone and wood décor. Residents will be able to choose from three dining venues including a formal dining room with grand fireplace, café and pub. An indoor warm-water pool, kept at a constant 93°F, is the focal point of a wellness center that features state of the art exercise equipment specifically designed to make senior fitness easy.  Other amenities will include a full-service beauty salon/spa, activity center, movie theater and dance hall.

“We are excited to bring a senior residence with such a vast array of living & care options, programs and building features to Waukesha,” said New Perspective’ Partner & Chief Operating Officer, Chris Hyatt. He adds, “creating a wonderful environment like this supports our belief that all seniors deserve to Live Life on Purpose®.”

The new community’s independent and assisted living apartments will be offered in a variety of configurations to accommodate different needs and price points. Each will be equipped with a full kitchen and in-apartment laundry. Residents can also take advantage of weekly housekeeping, activity transportation, and exceptional on-site physical therapy and wellness services. For those requiring additional assistance in the activities of daily living, care will be available 24 hours a day.

Memory care will be provided in an open, yet, secured floor plan filled with warm, natural light and easy access to outdoor courtyards. The memory care neighborhood is configured into comfortable, unique spaces so that residents can thrive in smaller environments while still taking advantage of the amenities and opportunities the larger building provides. Additionally, the New Perspective team utilizes the latest research-based memory care programming and activities to provide the best life experience.

New Perspective – Waukesha will offer 94 independent and assisted living apartments and 34 memory care apartments. While being built, the project will create more than 100 construction jobs, and once operational, it will employ around 80 team members.

An official groundbreaking ceremony for the community will be held during the spring, with the opening slated for late summer of 2020.

Today, New Perspective Senior Living operates 22 senior living communities, including the acquisition last month of New Perspective – Carlson Parkway. The Franklin, WI and Waukesha, WI developments look to be the 23rd and 24th communities in the company’s portfolio, respectively.
