PHOENIX (March 23, 2022) – Sagewood, a Life Plan Community featuring a resort-style setting in Phoenix, announced the promotion of
Michael Dobbs from director of community life services to marketing director.
Dobbs joined Sagewood in August 2019 with a skillset and passion for exemplary customer service and curating unique experiences for senior living residents. As director of community life services, Dobbs developed a diverse and holistic curriculum of events and activities for the residents of Sagewood.
After years of excelling in this role and creating a positive impact on residents and staff, Dobbs was the clear choice to take the role of marketing director.

Michael’s positive demeanor, intelligence and love for Sagewood made him the ideal candidate.”
In his new role, Dobbs will be leading the sales team, promoting Sagewood within the senior living industry and greater Phoenix community, cultivating lasting relationships with current and prospective residents, and overseeing marketing operations in Sagewood’s Independent Living, Desert Willow Memory Care and Acacia Health Center.
Before starting with Sagewood, Dobbs worked as a professional actor on the stage and screen in Chicago and took an organic path to senior living through private estate management, corporate and government relations, event coordination, and non-profit institutional advancement. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in 1995.
Dobbs is looking forward to using his combined skillsets, passion for senior living and knowledge of Sagewood to help strengthen the marketing department.
