Launch First Annual Senior Living Compensation Study
LOS GATOS, CA – The Assisted Living Federation of America has partnered with the leader in compensation survey development, Western Management Group, to launch the First Annual ALFA Senior Living Compensation Study on behalf of the senior living industry. The survey will be released in October 2006.
“Member companies have long needed a salary benchmarking tool that accurately captured the unique positions in assisted living. We’ll finally be able to deliver highly targeted data to improve decision-making and impact competitive pay, offered by member companies. The survey could not have come at a better time and we’re thrilled to be creating this industry-wide survey with Western Management Group,” said Rick Grimes, President and CEO, ALFA.
ALFA Member companies will be invited to participate along with other non-member company executives. Members are encouraged to participate by responding to their print and email invitations. ALFA Member Companies save 30 percent on survey pricing, as a special ALFA member benefit program.
Explains Bonna Kauffman, Survey Manager, “There is a real need out there and this survey will deliver very valuable data, mapping uncharted territory and including: base salaries, bonuses and profit sharing as well as target bonus data for a variety of job categories and titles.”

Only survey participants will have access to survey results and the survey data will be collected on an incumbent basis to ensure a complete picture of all compensation elements and true percentile analysis.
