(Alexandria, Va.) – Argentum, a national association supporting senior living providers, congratulates its members named by the Great Place to Work® Institute as companies fostering high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures. Among the companies, Brightview Senior Living, based in Baltimore, Md., was rated No. 1 for the third consecutive year on the Fortune magazine Best Workplaces for Aging Services list.

Great Place to Work, a global research and analytics firm, identified 50 senior living providers on its fourth annual list. The list is divided into 25 large providers—with 1,000 employees or more—and 25 small and medium providers.

Argentum congratulates this group of companies and the following Argentum members for this significant recognition:

“These Argentum member companies have committed to offering a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential,” said James Balda, president and CEO of Argentum. “It’s admirable to see their staffs and leadership recognized for upholding the importance of a strong culture, especially during an extremely challenging year.”

“We are incredibly honored to be Fortune magazine’s number one for the third year in a row,” said Brightview president Doug Dollenberg. “At Brightview, we promote from within and do everything we can to make our associates feel valued and supported.”

Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. The remaining 15 percent of the rank is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders. Great Place to Work analyzes these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce makeup, and what is typical relative to industry peers.
