Alexandria, Va.—Argentum is pleased to announce the first class of Senior Living Sales Counselor Certificate recipients, which includes 42 individuals from 16 senior living provider companies. A commitment to engage in the certificate program by senior living providers is intended to help organizations refocus their onboarding strategy on skills development, sales execution, and competitive differentiators.

First introduced in 2017, the Senior Living Sales Counselor Certificate program is a member-led initiative of Argentum’s sales and marketing executive roundtable and is designed to help build knowledge and competencies of senior living sales professionals. The curriculum focuses on three fundamentals of sales including industry knowledge, marketing strategy, and the consultative sales process. To be awarded a certificate, an individual must successfully complete an online examination administered by a Live Online Proctor. Internet-based training modules have been developed by Argentum and are available for exam preparation.

“With this program, we are encouraging senior living providers to invest in their most valuable resource—their employees,” said James Balda, Argentum president & CEO.  “We also want to inspire professionals in the industry to elevate their skill set and knowledge base, leading to more effective and efficient collaboration with prospective residents and their family members throughout the sales process.”

Registration for the Senior Living Sales Counselor Certificate program is now open on an ongoing basis. Senior living professionals interested in learning more or companies seeking to make an enterprise-wide investment by enrolling a sales team, may do so by visiting argentum.org/sales.
