MINNEAPOLIS (March 21, 2024)– Health Dimensions Group® (HDG®), is pleased to announce Alex Knight has been promoted to senior director of recruitment & placement services.

In his new role, Knight oversees a team of recruiters and consultants in delivering strategic workforce solutions to HDG and its clients throughout the nation. Knight leads the development of detailed talent acquisition and executive search strategies that position organizations to successfully attract, develop, engage, and retain interim and permanent team members. By analyzing workforce trends and leveraging industry relationships, Knight and his team take a proactive approach to talent management to build a network of qualified interim and permanent candidates. Their efforts quickly resolve clients’ leadership needs as well as ensure their use of staffing agencies remains low.

HDG offers comprehensive people management services, including immediate placement of interim leaders, centralized employee recruiting, onboarding, training and professional development, compensation and benefits management, safety protocols, and performance management. Several of HDG’s workforce solutions leaders— including Knight— are experienced senior living and care operators and leverage their expertise to source top talent.

Knight joined the HDG team in 2021 as manager of talent acquisition and was promoted to director of talent acquisition in 2023. Prior to his time with the organization, he served as a nursing home administrator for Crest View Senior Communities and executive director of an 87-bed long-term care residence in Minneapolis. Knight is an alumni of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Care Administration. In addition, he is currently licensed by the state of Minnesota as a nursing home administrator and assisted living director.

To support senior living and health care’s growing demand for workforce solutions, HDG has also named Zach Volz as talent acquisition manager and Crystal Stier as talent acquisition consultant. As key members of Knight’s team, Volz and Stier work collaboratively with the HDG’s clients’ teams to understand their workforce needs and develop tailored solutions that attract, hire, and retain top talent. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and recruitment marketing to their roles.

“Alex Knight’s leadership and expertise in recruitment and executive search services have been instrumental in driving HDG’s success in meeting the staffing needs of clients across the country,” said Senior Vice President of Recruitment Services Sarah Friede. “His team’s innovative approach and dedication to excellence have helped to establish HDG as a leader in industry-related workforce solutions.”
