Goal outcomes: Validate data points and assumptions for pilots; document 2–3 target problems (with priority roles and target populations) that each design lab will address.

Groups present their draft pilots; pilots are scored and prioritized.

Goal outcomes: Rank list of pilots with scores recorded; selected pilot(s) and alternates approved; assigned next-step tasks to convert top pilots into fundable proposals.

12:30 – 1:15 PM | Networking Lunch & Team Assignments

Goal outcomes: Finalize breakout rosters to address and discuss four workforce tracks:

  • Entry-level Challenges
  • Case for Apprenticeship Solutions
  • Employer Engagement and Workforce Alignment
  • Education and Workforce Partnerships 

1:15 – 3:30 PM | Breakout Design Labs: Build Pilot Programs & Solutions

ACGTMC. Working groups will develop pilot concepts, identify partners, map timelines, and surface potential funding resources.

Goal outcomes: Report and complete draft pilot one-pagers identifying goals and solutions for post-symposium programs.  

3:30 – 4:15 PM | Report-Out, Scoring & Pilot Selection

Groups present their draft pilots; pilots are scored and prioritized. 

Goal outcomes: Ranked list of pilots with scores recorded; selected pilot(s) and alternates approved; assigned next-step tasks to convert top pilots into fundable proposals. 

4:15 – 4:30 PM | Closing & Commitments

Goal outcomes: Argentum, CALA, LATTC, and ACGTMC & CEAL call for action; commitments with /60/90/120 day follow ups from the day’s proceedings.
