WEST LINN, Ore. — Anthem Memory Care has promoted Lewis McCoy, Ph.D., to president. McCoy will be responsible for maximizing the business — serving as the organization’s chief optimization and enterprise excellence leader. He will focus on improving and strengthening Anthem’s infrastructure, people and capabilities for long term competitive advantage. His key priorities will include operational efficiency, research and development, process improvement and innovation.
McCoy previously served as chief operating officer for Anthem Memory Care, where he led the development of operating systems and platforms, guided the opening and ongoing operations of new development projects, spearheaded the rollout of management services for acquired communities and helped maintain best-in-class memory care operations amid significant challenges facing the profession.

McCoy earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Linfield University; a Master of Business Administration from George Fox University; a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Lewis and Clark University and a Doctor of Philosophy in industrial and organizational psychology from Liberty University.
