WEBINAR: Argentum Advocates Invited to Join July 29 Policy Briefing for Mid-Year Update

[current_event_date]

Argentum has continued to drive an active federal advocacy agenda in 2026, securing meaningful policy victories while responding to emerging legislative and regulatory challenges that could significantly impact senior living providers, residents, and the workforce. Through engagement with Congress, federal agencies, and the Administration, Argentum remains focused on advancing policies that expand access to senior living, improve affordability, strengthen the workforce, and ensure policymakers have an accurate understanding of the value assisted living communities provide.

Argentum Advocates are invited to join us next Wednesday, July 29, at 2:00 p.m. ET for our next quarterly policy briefing, where we will provide a comprehensive update on the issues shaping the federal policy landscape for senior living in Washington. During the briefing, Argentum’s Government Relations team will discuss:

  • Argentum’s advocacy successes in the reauthorization of the Older Americans Act.
  • Argentum’s response to the misleading GAO report on federal spending in assisted living and our efforts to ensure policymakers understand the realities of the senior living sector.
  • Ongoing advocacy surrounding the ACCESS Act and concerns that the legislation could create substantial new federal regulation of assisted living communities.
  • What comes next following enactment of the 21st Century Road to Housing Act, including Argentum’s efforts to address policy concerns.
  • Expectations for Congress during the remainder of the legislative term, both before and after the November elections, including the potential use of budget reconciliation to advance major Trump Administration priorities.
  • How members can strengthen Argentum’s advocacy efforts by hosting congressional and policymaker community tours during the August recess, including through a new tool designed to help facilitate engagement with elected officials.

The briefing will also provide an opportunity for members to ask questions, hear the latest developments directly from Argentum’s advocacy team, and learn how they can play a more active role in advancing policies that support senior living providers, residents, and caregivers. We encourage all Argentum Advocates to join us for this important discussion and to stay informed on the key federal developments that will shape the months ahead.
