Julianne Ramia has been named executive director for Artis Senior Living of Branford. In this capacity, she will oversee all care, operations and programming.
Ramia previously was dementia specialist for Hartford Healthcare Center for Healthy Aging in Bridgeport, CT. She also served as executive director for The Hearth at Tuxis Pond in Madison, CT. She brings over 11 years of senior living experience to this position.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT. Ramia is a certified dementia practitioner and an affiliated trainer for the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia.
