HUNTSVILLE, AL — Birmingham-based Atlas Senior Living is adding a new community today to its portfolio: a 93-unit assisted living and memory care property located at 2238 Cecil Ashburn Drive SE in Huntsville. The community’s new name will be The Goldton at Jones Farm.
The recent purchase will strengthen Atlas’ existing presence and Goldton luxury brand in the Madison-Huntsville area, joining The Goldton at Athens, Monark Grove Madison, and Madison at The Range as part of the company’s footprint in North Alabama.
“Expanding in this region creates more adaptable support and more opportunities for associates to build rewarding careers while serving residents with care,” states Scott Goldberg, Co-founder, President, and CEO of Atlas Senior Living.
As part of the transition, the community will be implementing ‘smart’ tech and apartment features through partnerships with Alexa and Speak2. Speak2 empowers seniors to stay connected and independent by using simple voice commands to make calls, request services, and access community information.
“Residents are already asking about what the new features will mean day-to-day,” said Deborah Elms, Executive Director of The Goldton at Jones Farm. “Being part of Atlas means bringing in more tools that support independence and ease. Our team is looking forward to what’s ahead.”
Atlas, headquartered in Birmingham, has operated in Alabama for over a decade. The company’s continued growth in the state reflects its regional approach to operations and long-term planning.
“We’re continuing to do what we’ve always done—growing with purpose, not just for the sake of growth,” Scott adds. “When we see an opportunity that aligns at both the community and market level, and where we believe Atlas can bring real value to residents and associates, we move forward. That disciplined approach will guide our continued growth into 2025.”
Atlas will begin introducing its brand, systems, and services at The Goldton at Jones Farm following the transition.
