Atlas Senior Living Expands Footprint, Marks Entry into Washington D.C. Metro with Four Communities

[current_event_date]

BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 2025) — As the demand for senior housing continues to grow in the Mid-Atlantic, Atlas Senior Living is stepping in to manage four communities in the Washington D.C. metro area.

The four assisted living and memory care communities include: Tribute at the Glen in Woodbridge, VA; Tribute at One Loudoun in Ashburn, VA; Tribute at Melford in Bowie, MD; and Tribute at Black Hill in Germantown, MD.

This move marks Atlas’ first entry into the region, expanding its national portfolio to more than 40 senior living communities. The expansion is a part of a broader strategy to enter new geographic markets while preserving what makes each community distinct and locally relevant.

Each community offers a range of living options, well-designed spaces, and a culture of care that aligns with Atlas’s resident-first approach. Atlas will build on this foundation by providing operational support, staffing expertise, and clinical guidance unique to each community. The operator has appointed a new regional team based in the D.C. area to ensure smooth operations and ongoing support for staff and residents.

“Entering the D.C. metro market is a pivotal milestone for Atlas,” said Scott Goldberg, Co-founder, President, and CEO of Atlas Senior Living. “Rejecting a cookie-cutter model isn’t just our philosophy—it’s who we are and what we stand for as a company, woven into our DNA.”

“We owe it to each and every resident and our dedicated community teams to amplify those unique strengths while preserving what they already love,” he added, “ensuring our staff are fully equipped to deliver not just exceptional care but an enhanced lifestyle.”
