ORLANDO – Bridge Senior Living today announced an executive promotion and one executive role change that creates a new position within the company.
Katharine Anderson has been promoted to vice president of marketing and digital strategy while Karen Ingram, ALA, is moving to the new role of vice president of sales support and customer experience.
In the newly created position, Ingram will build and introduce a new “first impression” initiative to engage potential residents and their families during their debut visit to a Bridge Senior Living community. Ingram will also drive customer service satisfaction and resident retention efforts by overseeing resident satisfaction surveys to help Bridge Senior Living communities and their team members learn about and deliver more of what is valued most by residents.
“Among our many missions as providers of senior care, it is imperative we positively impact the lives of our residents, their families and our associates throughout every day,” said Ingram. “My mission in this new leadership role is to create a ‘WOW factor’ through everyday positive interactions from the first time potential or new residents walk through the door, to their move-in experience and throughout their entire community experience at a Bridge Senior Living location they choose to make their home.”
Ingram will also work closely with each community’s resident services directors to create new “VIP treatment” programs for residents and their families. She will partner with corporate level operations and sales and marketing to create the customer experience. Ingram will also work closely with the executive directors at Bridge Senior Living to coach and mentor to drive performance in these areas. Ultimately, Ingram will oversee Bridge Senior Living’s Hospitality program to ensure standards are consistently met across the company.
Ingram joined Bridge Senior Living’s executive team in May 2021 as senior executive director and operations/sales specialist, most recently serving as a regional vice president of sales and marketing. Starting in 2016 she previously was part of the community leadership teams at Summer Village in Auburn, Ala., and director of sales and marketing with Somerby St. Vincent’s One Nineteen in Birmingham.
“Ingram’s new role will elevate Bridge Senior Living’s customer experience through an array of initiatives,” said Robert Goyette, COO of Bridge Senior Living.
Ingram earned a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from Auburn University, a Nursing Home Administrator license and a Category II Assisted Living Administrator license. She resides in Auburn.
Anderson joined Bridge Senior Living in early 2021 as digital marketing and communications director following her work as a luxury account manager for Marriott International locations in Florida. Previously, Anderson was a marketing specialist at Jupiter Medical Center & Hospital in Jupiter, Fla. She also worked with Florida-based PGA National Resort & Spa and Wyndham Hotel Group.
Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising from Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers and a Hospitality and Tourism Management Certification from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She resides in Jupiter.
“In her first year with Bridge Senior Living, Katherine elevated our brand and created a personalized online consumer journey for prospects,” said Kelly Ornberg, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Bridge Senior Living. “We enthusiastically anticipate big things as Katharine starts overseeing all aspects of our marketing and digital experiences.”
