Broadband Hospitality Partners with Best Western® Hotels & Resorts for Wi-Fi Upgrade

[current_event_date]

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio—Broadband Hospitality, a preferred provider of cost-effective and scalable total unified technology solutions for hotels, senior living facilities, student housing and MDUs, has been selected by Best Western Hotels & Resorts as an Endorsed HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) Supplier.

Under the agreement, BBH will collaborate with Best Western Hotels & Resorts in an effort to significantly upgrade and improve the wi-fi experience for hotel guests nationwide in all Best Western-branded hotels. This includes creating and implementing new guest Internet standards and bandwidth requirements at Best Western Hotels & Resorts properties as well as the introduction of a tiered program with complimentary and premium wi-fi options for guests.

With BBH as an endorsed supplier, Best Western Hotels & Resorts properties will now also have access to the full range of BBH total unified technology solutions designed to help owners “bundle and save” while providing an optimal guest experience.

“What an absolute privilege it is to be endorsed by an iconic and well-respected brand like Best Western Hotels & Resorts due to our unique capabilities to deliver superior wi-fi and serve as a total technology solutions provider for their properties. We’re honored and excited to play a role in helping Best Western Hotels & Resorts define and implement new standards that will make better, faster, and more reliable internet a reality for their hotel guests,” said Broadband Hospitality CEO Vince Lucci.

Broadband Hospitality has a proven track record of partnering with major hotel brands to create and implement appropriate guest internet brand standards that are designed to give properties a competitive advantage as part of a total unified technology solution.

A true technology partner, the BBH team goes a step further than most technology suppliers by assuming a project management role, managing every upgrade and installation and providing oversight, assurance, and 24/7 technical support each step of the way for its hotel, senior living, student housing and MDU customers.

Through the BBH partnership, Best Western Hotels & Resorts will introduce tiered wi-fi service offerings with a premium upgrade option for guests. While this new premium service will be offered as a complimentary benefit to Best Western Rewards® Elite status members, all guests will have the option to purchase the premium wi-fi access, where available. The additional revenue generated via these guest purchases will help hotel owners offset the costs associated with upgrading their Internet network to a higher standard.

“In today’s marketplace, fast and reliable wi-fi is a necessary hotel amenity, making it a critical part of a traveler’s hotel experience,” said Kevin Velez, senior director of technology management for Best Western Hotels & Resorts. “As customer expectations continue to expand and evolve, we make it a priority to partner with industry leaders like BBH, who play an important role in helping us meet and exceed those guest expectations. The scalability and flexibility offered by BBH enables us to deliver simple, smart and cost-effective technology solutions to our hotels, giving them the tools they need to upgrade the guest experience.”
