Commonwealth Senior Living Adds Two New Regional Vice-Presidents

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—Commonwealth Senior Living (CSL) has added two new regional vice presidents. These new team members bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to CSL and strengthen the organization’s commitment to becoming the brand of choice for senior living.

“These recent appointments further our commitment to providing high-quality senior housing, industry-leading support to our community teams, and comprehensive services to our residents and their families,” said Richard Brewer, CEO of CSL. “These talented individuals have incredible expertise and embody our core values which set us apart from other providers in our passion to ensure satisfaction for both our residents and staff.”

The new regional vice presidents include:

  • Ann Bowe, regional vice-president of Hampton Roads: Ms. Bowe has 20 years of experience working in the senior living industry. Most recently, she worked with Heartland Hospice. In her new role, she will oversee the operations at Commonwealth Senior Living at The Ballentine (Norfolk, Va.), Commonwealth Senior Living at Churchland House (Portsmouth, Va.), Commonwealth Senior Living at Hampton (Hampton, Va.), and Commonwealth Senior Living at Williamsburg (Williamsburg, Va.).
  • Derrick Mathis, LALA, regional vice-president of Northern Communities: Mathis is a long-time CSL associate, having served as executive director of Commonwealth Senior Living at Charlottesville since 2018. He has over 15 years in the senior living industry. In his role, Mathis will oversee the operations at Commonwealth Senior Living at Front Royal, and new communities in Harrisburg, Pa., Hagerstown, Md., Cockeysville, Md., Bel Air, Md., and Berryville, Va.

Both have started in their new roles.
