Renovations Included Addition of Memory Care Neighborhood
Charlottesville, VA – November 3, 2025 – Commonwealth Senior Living announces the completion of renovations at Commonwealth Senior Living at Manassas. The enhancements to the community include the addition of a 25-bed memory care neighborhood, new living/activity room dedicated to the memory of the founder of the community, a new fitness and therapy space, full facade renovations including new siding and windows, improvements and additions to green spaces around the community with assistance of the City of Manassas’ Facade and Landscape Improvement Grant Program. Commonwealth Senior Living at Manassas now offers 61 assisted living beds and 25 memory care beds for a total of 86 beds in 75 units.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Manassas is located at 9201 Portner Avenue in Manassas, Virginia. In addition to the improvements to the community itself, Commonwealth Senior Living introduced additional green spaces and aesthetic improvements to the viewshed of Annaburg Park which sits directly adjacent to the property. These enhancements allow residents to enjoy additional outdoor spaces.
Commonwealth has also introduced its signature programs including the award-winning Sweet Memories Alzheimer’s and dementia program, Farm to Table dining, Our Promise to Veterans program which honors those men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, and Commonwealth’s interactive communication tool, TSO Life, among others.
