Charlottesville, VA – January 24, 2023 – Commonwealth Senior Living announces that Marybeth Showalter has rejoined the company as Vice President of Associate Learning, Development and Retention, Amber Turner has rejoined the team as Vice President of Human Resources, and Amanda Greene has joined as Director of Candidate Experience. Turner, Showalter and Greene will help Commonwealth deliver on its employee value proposition and position it for future growth within the Eastern United States.

Marybeth Showalter has been hired as the newly created position of Vice President of Associate Learning, Training, and Retention having previously served as a Regional Human Resources professional with the company. In this new role, Ms. Showalter will be overseeing Commonwealth’s Training and Development programs and enhance the company’s ability to deliver on its employee value proposition.
Amber Turner will be taking on the role of Vice President of Human Resources to further enhance our services and support of our communities. Turner was most recently VP of Talent Optimization at Navion Senior Living. Turner also previously served as Regional Director of HR & Training for Commonwealth Senior Living.
Amanda Greene has joined as Director of Candidate Experience. In this new role, Ms. Greene will be responsible for implementing talent acquisition solutions to recruit top talent to Commonwealth Senior Living. This includes identifying opportunities for growth internally as well as recruiting candidates from outside of the company. Ms. Greene will immediately add a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists for the Commonwealth team to support its communities.
