Charlottesville, VA – April 27, 2026 – Commonwealth Senior Living announces that it will be adding 24 additional assisted living apartments to Commonwealth Senior Living at Cedar Manor located in Chesapeake, Virginia. The expansion includes the addition 10 one-bedrooms and 14 studios. Commonwealth Senior Living at Cedar Manor will have the ability to offer assisted living and memory care services to 126 residents upon the completion of construction.

Construction at the community is scheduled to be completed in August 2027. The community will remain fully open during construction and is currently accepting priority reservations for the new apartments.
