Matthew Sutton has 14 Years of Experience in Senior Care
Charlottesville, VA – October 15, 2024 – Commonwealth Senior Living announces that Matthew Sutton has joined the company as Regional Vice President of Resident Care. Mr. Sutton has 14 years of senior care experience having most recently served as the Interim Administrator at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

Mr. Sutton began his career as a CNA/LPN at Westminster Canterbury of the Blueridge. He went on to serve in leadership roles at Blue Ridge Senior Living, Canterbury Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Westport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he prioritized exceptional customer service, resident outcomes, regulatory compliance, and revenue growth.
