Skokie, Ill. — It was last September when the now former Covenant Retirement Communities announced approval from its board of directors for the new corporate name and identity. Now, with all of the legal filings and documentations complete, beginning June 25, the official rebranding to Covenant Living Communities and Services is in effect. Covenant Living, the nation’s fifth largest senior living and healthcare provider, owns and manages 16 communities in nine states.
All Covenant Living’s communities across the country are also beginning to use their new names which align with the new corporate name and identity. The community names will incorporate Covenant Living with their unique location. Each is distinctive to location, but connecting to the strength of the larger organization.
“This rebranding positions our organization in a fresh, energetic and welcoming way for the older adults we serve, their family members and will help in attracting new employees. It is more than exciting to finally put our new name to full use for everyone to see,” said Terri Cunliffe, Covenant Living President and CEO.
Those who live and work at Covenant Living, along with the public, will now visibly see the new name and logo. Each community, along with the corporate headquarters in Skokie, IL, will have new exterior signage, marketing collateral, rebranded websites, and employee uniforms for those in healthcare, housekeeping, facilities maintenance and dining.
The new name and logo connects Covenant Living to its strong Christian heritage, distinctly reflects its values, and projects liveliness, health and growth. The new logo symbolizes Covenant Living being a faith-based organization incorporating the Christian symbol of a fish implying a place for new life, safe space and of community. The color palette was chosen to communicate vitality and health.
