MAPLE GROVE, Minn.—Grace Management, Inc., has named Ashlea Smalley national director of life enrichment and memory care.
“I am truly honored to be joining the Grace Management team and look forward to working with this passionate and dedicated team,” Smalley said. Smalley has worked in the senior living industry for 15 years in skilled nursing, primarily within memory care. In addition to her work in senior living, she has also taught as an adjunct professor at Northern Illinois University and Benedictine University in their gerontology and psychology departments.

Smalley holds a master’s in gerontology with a focus in dementia studies and is currently pursuing her doctorate in the field. Her certifications include certified dementia care practitioner, certified Montessori dementia care practitioner, and certified Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care trainer.
