WEST LINN, Ore.—After Insight Senior Living and Link Development successfully partnered to create the newly formed brand, Ativo Senior Living, the two companies decided to further deepen their relationship by having Link Development’s CEO, Ron Ziebart, join Insight Senior Living as an ownership partner.
Before beginning Link Senior Development in 2012, Ziebart developed numerous senior housing projects and brings to Insight a wide range of detailed experience as a developer, owner, and operator within the full spectrum of senior housing property types, which have included independent retirement communities, assisted living, and memory care. In having such a unique and diverse professional background, he has put himself in a rare position to be able to fully understand the entire development process, beginning to end, from various vantage points.

His breadth of knowledge and strategic partnerships in development will only further Insight’s depth and experience within the senior housing market,” said LisaAnn Shelton, CEO of Insight Senior Living. “With at least four new developments in the pipeline as well as possible acquisitions in the works, Insight is dedicated to bringing quality senior care not only to the Southwest but nationally.”
Insight Senior Living, along with Ziebart, brings expertise refined from hundreds of senior housing development projects, acquisition transitions, and hotel conversions. Ziebart draws from more than 40 years of experience in various development capacities including more than 20 years directly leading projects and teams in the development of retirement communities. Insight Senior Living, led by CEO Shelton, delivers over 30 years of senior living experience in initial development, pre-opening, acquisitions, new management services, and general operations.
Ativo Senior Living of Yuma opened this October in Yuma, AZ; Ativo Senior Living of Prescott Valley has broken ground and is projected to open in early fall of 2022; Ativo Senior Living of Sundance and Ativo Senior Living of Albuquerque will be opening in 2023, and Ativo Senior Living of Santa Clarita will break ground fall of 2022.
