Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries and APPI Energy Partner on Benefit

[current_event_date]

SALISBURY, Md.—The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries announced a new agreement with consulting firm APPI Energy on an ISRI member-only benefit to provide electricity and natural gas cost management and reduction services.  Through APPI Energy’s program, ISRI members receive expert recommendations, cost reduction opportunities, and budget certainty through competitive procurement and fixed, all-inclusive energy contracts.

“Every day, APPI Energy reviews the wide range of energy supplier prices across the country, and utilizes that data to lower operating expenses for our clients,” said Walter Moore, president and CEO of APPI Energy. “Recommendations to ISRI members regarding when to buy energy, and which contract length is best, are based on extensive data analytics and over 23 years of transaction experience,” said Moore.

“Though our partnership with APPI Energy, we hope to provide our members with sustainable and effective measures for cost reduction,” said Robin Wiener, president of ISRI. “This is another valuable offering we are adding to ISRI members to save money in their business operations.”
