DALLAS, TX – September 4, 2025 – Lifespace Communities, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit senior living organizations, announced the appointment of Lacey LaPointe as Vice President of Philanthropy, a key leadership role dedicated to advancing a culture of philanthropy across Lifespace’s 15 communities. As of September 3, she will oversee all fundraising efforts through the Lifespace Foundation, focusing on cultivating donor relationships, growing planned giving initiatives, and supporting projects that enhance resident life across our communities. 
Reporting directly to President and CEO Jesse Jantzen, LaPointe will lead fundraising initiatives through the Foundation that strengthen resident engagement and support Lifespace’s mission of serving older adults. For more than three decades, the Foundation has been at the heart of Lifespace’s mission, providing opportunities for residents, families, team members, and friends to give back in meaningful ways. Her commitment to servant leadership ensures its impact will remain far-reaching, supporting three core pillars that enrich life across Lifespace communities: Benevolent Care, Community Projects and Programming, and Team Member Support.
“Lacey’s more than two decades of experience leading fundraising and development strategies designed to foster meaningful impact and sustainable growth for mission-driven organizations will serve the Foundation well,” said Jantzen. “Her background as a dynamic change agent spans major giving, capital campaigns, donor stewardship, and legacy giving programs.”
Prior to joining Lifespace, LaPointe served as Senior Vice President of Development at Charity: water, overseeing $68M in operational and program funding, and has led successful capital campaigns and donor engagement strategies at organizations including University of North Texas Health Science Center, Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, the Dallas Zoo, and the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas.
Certified as a Fundraising Executive (CFRE), LaPointe brings a proven track record of aligning fundraising strategy with organizational priorities, resulting in transformative support for mission-driven organizations. Throughout her career, she has led transformative campaigns, raised tens of millions in philanthropic support, and built strong cultures of giving within organizations and communities.
