Lambs Snuggle into Hearts of Memory Care Seniors

[current_event_date]

Some local memory care residents enjoyed some furry visitors when a flock of lambs dropped by Liberty Place, an Anthem Memory Care community located at 7200 Heritagespring Drive, West Chester, OH. The animals from Big Blue Firewood Farm in Kentucky brought affection, laughter and calmness to the seniors.

“Many of our residents are lifelong animal lovers, and they light up when they pet them,” said Amy Snow, life engagement director for Liberty Place. “For people living with dementia, that gentle touch and sweet interaction can be incredibly calming, and it sparks so much joy. The best part is that the feeling is mutual – they soak up the attention and return it with affection.”
