FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn., February 16, 2023 – LCB Senior Living, a leading senior housing provider with more than 30 communities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, announced today it has formed a partnership with CaringKind, an organization that promotes comprehensive and compassionate care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The partnership will include LCB Senior Living’s three communities in Fairfield County: The Residence at Summer Street in Stamford, The Residence at Selleck’s Woods in Darien, and The Residence at Westport.

Under the partnership, CaringKind dementia specialists will provide training and support for LCB Senior Living staff on the best practices for caring for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. These specialists will also hold support groups for family members of LCB Senior Living residents, as well as help solve other dementia-related challenges. The partnership will supplement LCB Senior Living’s renowned Reflections Memory Care program, which supports residents through enriching experiences and is based on a philosophy of empathy, expression, and mindfulness.
