DALLAS, TX – May 12, 2025 – Lifespace Communities, one of the nation’s top 10 largest nonprofit senior living organizations, announced the return of Brian Robbins as chief operating officer (COO), effective May 12. In this role, Robbins will lead operational performance and strategy execution across Lifespace’s 15 continuing care retirement communities, advancing a mission-driven culture focused on resident experience, team member engagement, and operational excellence.
Robbins previously served as Lifespace’s COO from December 2022 to December 2024, where he had a significant impact on community operations and resident satisfaction. He most recently served as president of Buckner Retirement Services.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Brian back to Lifespace,” said Jesse Jantzen, president and chief executive officer of Lifespace Communities. “His proven leadership, deep understanding of our communities, and commitment to our mission make him exceptionally well-suited to help us accelerate progress and build on the strong momentum already underway.”
A U.S. Navy veteran with more than 20 years of experience in senior living, Robbins is known for his disciplined, compassionate approach to operational leadership. As COO, he will oversee all aspects of community operations across all levels of living and be responsible for day-to-day performance and strategy execution. Robbins will report directly to Jantzen and rejoin the organization’s senior leadership team.
“I’m excited to return to Lifespace and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in senior living. I look forward to reconnecting with our dedicated team members and continuing the important work of serving residents and strengthening our communities,” Robbins said.
Robbins’ return underscores Lifespace’s ongoing commitment to enhancing resident and team member experience, advancing operational best practices, and deepening its impact across the senior living industry.
