Srini Alagarsamy Joins as CTO to Spearhead Digital Transformation Initiatives

Natallia Futrell Appointed CCO to Elevate Healthcare Services and Care Models

DALLAS, TX – April 18, 2024 – Lifespace Communities announced the appointment of two key executives to its senior leadership team, bolstering its commitment to innovation and high-quality care within its senior living communities.

Srini Alagarsamy has been appointed as chief technology officer effective April 9. Alagarsamy, who reports to Lifespace Communities president and CEO Jesse Jantzen, brings over two decades of experience in leading digital transformations for Fortune 100 companies, including General Motors Financial, Sallie Mae, and Cigna. At Lifespace, he will steer the strategic innovation and long-term technological vision, handling infrastructure, cybersecurity, software applications, and data and analytics.

“Srini brings years of relevant experience to this role leading large-scale digital transformations and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, data management, and security protocols to drive innovation,” said Jantzen. “He is aligned with Lifespace on the importance of collaboration and empowering our residents and team members to live their aspirations, and he is looking forward to being part of an organization that provides best-in-class service for older adults.”

“Lifespace’s desire to celebrate older adults deeply resonates with me, as does the opportunity to lead a talented technology team. I’m fueled by the prospect of identifying opportunities, envisioning creative solutions, and empowering a talented team to bring those solutions to life. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the tangible impact technology can have – whether it’s enhancing customer and team member experience, driving efficiency, or opening up entirely new possibilities,” said Alagarsamy.

On April 8, Natallia Futrell joined the organization as chief clinical officer. Futrell, who reports to Lifespace Communities chief operating officer Brian Robbins, will guide the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and develop future care models, serving as a business partner to operational leaders. Her background in leading clinical operations and developing effective systems for patient care, including tenures with Trinity Healthcare and StoneGate Senior Living positions her well for advancing Lifespace’s transformative care models.

“Throughout her career, Natallia has proven she can effectively deliver exceptional clinical care to her patients and residents and that as a servant leader, her guidance and support empowers the team to perform at high levels,” said Robbins. “Her drive for excellence, commitment to providing best-in-class care, and empowering others aligns with our Living Lifespace culture, where we create environments where each person can thrive.”

“As a leader in clinical operations, I feel it’s important to drive positive outcomes for the people I serve through the application of proactive, evidence-based standards of care. This environment also attracts and retains the next generation of healthcare providers,” said Futrell. “Seeing providers become excellent in what they do, evolve to meet the customer’s changing needs, and develop in their career brings me joy. As a leader, I feel responsible for providing my team with opportunities to grow and the resources to perform at the highest level to be successful.”

Both Alagarsamy and Futrell will serve on the Lifespace Senior Leadership Team, highlighting the organization’s drive to embrace technology and deliver premier service to older adults.

Alagarsamy earned a Master of Business Administration from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.

Futrell earned both her Master of Science in Nursing Administration and Management and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hartford.
