DALLAS, TX – August 27, 2025 – Lifespace Communities announced today that Mary Fregia has joined the senior living organization as Vice President, Human Resources, effective August 18. In this role, Fregia will report to Nikki Kresse, Chief Experience and People Officer, and lead Lifespace’s human resources team, advancing people strategies that support organizational priorities, enhance team member engagement, and foster a strong culture across all communities. 
“Mary is an accomplished HR leader with a proven ability to guide organizations through transformation while keeping people and culture at the center,” said Kresse. “Her deep expertise in organizational strategy, talent development, and engagement will help us continue to grow as an employer of choice and strengthen the experience for team members and ultimately, our residents too.”
Fregia brings more than 25 years of HR leadership experience spanning hospitality, restaurant, and service industries. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at G6 Hospitality, where she led the HR function through an ownership transition, large-scale reorganization, and digital transformation. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, driving engagement, and aligning HR strategy with business goals to deliver measurable results.
Earlier in her career, Fregia held senior HR leadership roles at TGI Fridays and Bristol Hotels & Resorts, where she supported large-scale growth and M&A integration, implemented enterprise HR technology systems, and advanced total rewards and talent strategies. A bilingual leader fluent in Spanish, she is known for fostering inclusive, high-performance cultures that help organizations thrive during times of change.
