October 27, 2025 – The Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim DuRoss, Co-CEO of LCB Senior Living, LLC as Board Chair, welcome Mathew Muratore, Founding Partner/President of EF Senior Care and highlight additional board appointments signaling a dynamic new chapter for the organization’s leadership and direction.
Tim DuRoss, Co-CEO of LCB Senior Living, brings more than 27 years of experience in operations and finance, and over two decades devoted to the service of older adults. At LCB Senior Living, Tim plays a pivotal role in strategic planning, driving growth, aligning operations and investor priorities, and ensuring excellence in care and service for older adults and their families. He is also a NIDE certified Dementia Care Professional, underscoring his commitment to innovative, compassionate service in memory care.
As Board Chair, Tim will guide Mass-ALA in shaping thoughtful policy and advancing initiatives that enhance residents’ quality of life statewide. His combination of operational expertise, financial knowledge, senior living leadership, and passion for resident-centered care uniquely positions him to assume the role.
Mathew Muratore, Founding Partner/President, EF Senior Care, has over 34 years of experience in the senior living industry, dedicating his professional life to improving the quality of life for residents across Massachusetts. Mathew began his career in high school, working in a skilled nursing home, continued to work in senior care residences through college, and became a licensed nursing home administrator in 1991. Mathew’s commitment to service extends into public service. In 2010, he was elected to the Plymouth, MA Select Board and in 2014 Mathew was elected to serve as State Representative and held the position until the end of 2024 where he advocated for the voices for older adults and those committed to serving them. Matt was appointed to the Massachusetts Nursing Facility Task Force 2019-2020, the Assisted Living Residences Commission, and the Rest Home Governance and Regulatory Structure Task Force. In 2018, Matt co-founded EF Senior Care which consults for, manages, owns and/or operates over 150 assisted living, skilled nursing and rest homes across the Commonwealth.
