Medtelligent Releases COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Tools in Rapid Response to Assisted Living Industry Needs

[current_event_date]

CHICAGO—Medtelligent, Inc., provider of ALIS software for assisted living, memory care, and independent living communities, today announced the launch of new vitals tracking features to support customers in managing new risks related to the spread of COVID-19.

“As true partners, our customers looped us in early on how they were adapting their workflows to support their residents and how we could help. We worked closely with them to quickly design and deploy these features to help them manage new resident care workflows,” said Trisha Cole, chief operating officer and general counsel of Medtelligent, noting the additional need to manage and track risk across properties.

The feature set, which allows for systemic, scalable vitals tracking at the resident, community, or portfolio level, provides the ability to:

  • Quickly access dashboardshighlighting at-risk residents and residents without proper vitals taken within the last 24 hours;
  • Easily add interventions across all residents in a community (or a subset)  to track temperature, blood oxygen level, and respiratory health;
  • Set real-time and automatic alerts for “out of range” vitals readings; and
  • Manage hybrid workflows efficiently with tools for electronic capture of vitals originally documented on paper for proper EHR chart documentation, compliance and visibility.

“We were able to release these features quickly into our ALIS Insights tool because our clients are industry leaders. They began proactively preparing their communities for this pandemic prior to any outbreaks,” said John Shafaee, CEO. “We’re incredibly grateful to support the important work they are doing across the country to keep their residents safe and healthy.”

The new vitals tracking features are available starting today. For more information, visit medtelligent.com.
