Anthem Memory Care celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week with a kindness initiative at its 19 communities. Activities ranged from visits to fire stations, a homeless shelter, animal shelters and more. At Liberty Place in West Chester, Ohio residents decorated coffee cup sleeves with messages of love and handed them out at a local coffee shop for Valentine’s Day.
“Having dementia doesn’t stop our residents from making an impact,” said Jennifer Boonstra, senior life engagement director for Anthem Memory Care. “Our residents are energized by uplifting others, and we hope we inspire others to choose kindness.”
