It was a paws-itively purr-fect event.
Millcroft Living in Newark, Delaware, celebrated its first in what is destined to become an annual event: Dog Days of Summer. Residents and staff of the senior living community, along with their families and guests, had the good fur-tune to honor everyone’s four-legged friends. The honored guests of the canine variety belonged to residents, their families (there was a granddog in attendance), staff, and dogs from PAWS for People. University of Delaware nursing students volunteered at the event. There was lively musical entertainment and great food, including, of course, hot dogs. 
“Everyone had a wonderful time,” said Kelly Donovan, Life Enrichment Director at Millcroft Living.
