Staff and Residents Unite to Share The Inspiring Stories and Wisdom of Each Individual Through Newly-Launched Podcast Series
Charlottesville, VA (October 23, 2024) – Morningside of Charlottesville, Five Star Senior Living’s senior living commuity location nestled in Charlottesville, VA, is now offering its residents an opportunity to share their own personal stories about raising families, running businesses, dealing with loss, and who has the best food. Dubbed the ‘C’dogs’–a play on words with “Seadogs” and Charlottesville’s nickname, C’Ville–the group meets twice a month to tell their stories, talk about life, and discuss the past and the present.
With Assisted living and Memory care programs, Morningside provides ample opportunities for residents to stay active, thanks to its proximity to popular local attractions and activities. The team is dedicated to implementing an activity calendar curated by the Life Enrichment Programming Director, Lisa Duquette, enhancing daily life for staff and residents. The C’Dogs podcast, hosted by media entertainer and DJ Josh Urban, is now an integral part of this calendar. It features episodes that explore a diverse range of topics from residents’ lifelong stories to rich nostalgic tales of car troubles in their youth. Residents eagerly anticipate these podcast sessions, which offer a platform for them to share their personal histories and cherished experiences.
