What started as a Goat Yoga session at a Cincinnati memory care community quickly turned into something even more heartwarming when the goats decided they’d rather snuggle than stretch. Artis Senior Living of Bridgetown, in partnership with Queen City Hospice, hosted a heartwarming Goat Yoga event for residents, families and team members at the community located at 5799 Bridgetown Rd., Cincinnati, OH.
Animal interaction has consistently shown a positive impact on mood, engagement, and emotional well-being, especially for individuals living with dementia. Choosing cuddles over poses, the animals created spontaneous moments of companionship, conversation and community involvement.
