Senators Tim Sheehy (R-MT) and Pete Ricketts (R-NE) recently signed on as cosponsors of S.3265, the Improve and Enhance the Work Opportunity Tax Credit Act, broadening bipartisan support to restore and expand the credit, which expired on December 31, 2025. For nearly 30 years, WOTC has helped senior living operators and other employers hire, train, and retain workers — including veterans, second-chance workers, and SNAP recipients — at a time of persistent workforce shortages.
