GRAPEVINE, TX — Pegasus Senior Living is raising the bar for resident engagement across its 44 communities with a thriving company-wide Pub Trivia initiative. What began in February 2024 as a pilot program with 20 participating communities has rapidly grown into a beloved monthly tradition that now engages nearly 30 communities per session.
Spearheaded by Pegasus’ Vice President of Engagement Keisha Moore, Pub Trivia takes place twice monthly on the first and third Tuesdays. The May sessions will explore the theme “May Flowers,” with flower-themed questions connecting residents nationwide through lighthearted competition and cognitive stimulation.
The initiative is open to residents across all service levels: independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Recent winners include South Hill Village’s memory care residents in the Connections program, which secured first place in both the January and April sessions.
“The growth of our Pub Trivia event has been exciting to witness,” Moore said. “This initiative is a powerful example of how we’re fostering meaningful, consistent engagement across the entire Pegasus network. It’s not just fun—it’s community-building.”
Research consistently shows that social and cognitive engagement in later life contributes to better overall health outcomes. Group activities like Pub Trivia can help reduce feelings of isolation, support memory retention, and improve mood. Pegasus Senior Living’s ongoing investment in dynamic, community-wide programs reflects its commitment to supporting not just physical wellness, but emotional and mental vitality as well.
