Phoenix Senior Living (PSL) announces the addition of independent living at their Hammond, LA location, The Phoenix at Hammond. PSL self-developed The Phoenix at Hammond, which opened in 2021 and serves seniors with assisted living and memory care. PSL realized the town is underserved in the independent senior living space. Therefore, the decision was made to add 24 independent living apartments, which are now open. First Guaranty Bank is the lending partner for this project.
Phoenix Senior Living, founded in 2014, is a privately held senior living operator with over 63 communities throughout the Southeast. The Phoenix at Hammond will be PSL’s second operating community in Louisiana and is a 91-unit stand-alone independent living, assisted living, and memory care community. Founder and CEO of PSL, Jesse Marinko, remarks, “PSL believes that when it comes to your loved one, everything matters, and we take the privilege of serving seniors.” He adds, “The opportunity to be a leader in quality seniors housing in the Hammond market is something we don’t take lightly. PSL provides residents and families with a meaningful and joyful experience from their first interaction with each community. The Phoenix at Hammond offers residents various indoor and outdoor amenities standard to the PSL brand, including landscaped outdoor spaces with a playground, soft seating, fireplace, Bocce court, and a walking path. Indoor amenities will include a bistro, a garden room, a library, a salon, and a piano/music room. Residents will also enjoy a puzzle area, various dining room options, and an arts and crafts room.
