Revelle Senior Living of Bucks County Welcomes Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick for Community Visit

Argentum and PALA’s Invite Your Lawmaker Toolkit makes it easier for senior living communities to connect with elected officials

As America’s first Baby Boomers turn 80, the need for quality housing, care, and support for older adults continues to grow. Approximately 14.7 million Americans are age 80 or older today, and that population is projected to more than double to approximately 30 million by 2045.

Recognizing the important role lawmakers play in shaping the future of senior living, Revelle Senior Living of Bucks County welcomed Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick for a firsthand look at the community, to meet the residents, and learn about the care and services provided.

The visit on October 21, 2026, was made possible through outreach using the Invite Your Lawmaker Toolkit, developed by Argentum in partnership with the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association (PALA). The tool helps senior living communities connect with their elected representatives and makes it easier to invite policymakers to see firsthand how senior living communities serve older adults.

During his visit, Congressman Fitzpatrick met residents, listened to their personal stories, learned about their backgrounds, and observed the compassionate, high-quality care provided by the community. The visit offered an opportunity to see how residents thrive in an environment built around their individual needs, well-being, and quality of life.

“We were delighted to welcome Congressman Fitzpatrick to Revelle of Bucks County,” expressed Kimberly Cahill Yannuzzi, Residence Director of Revelle of Bucks County. “Thanks to our partnership with PALA and the Invite Your Lawmaker tool, inviting him to visit was as easy as sending an email!”

Why Invite Your Lawmaker?

Bringing elected officials into senior living communities helps build understanding, strengthen relationships, and inform policy decisions that affect older adults, caregivers, and providers.

  • Show the Reality: A firsthand visit lets lawmakers see the compassionate, high-quality care being provided every day—far beyond what any report or testimony can convey.
  • Build Relationships: Personal connections with elected officials create lasting advocacy relationships. When they know your community, they think of you when policy decisions arise.
  • Shape Better Policy: informed lawmakers make better decisions. Community visits give lawmakers a deeper understanding of workforce challenges, regulatory demands, and the evolving needs of older adults, helping inform policies that support quality care.

“In Pennsylvania, we serve as the collective voice for personal care and assisted living providers, and we know that the strongest advocacy happens when a legislator sees firsthand the care being provided in their own district,” said Susan Saxinger, executive director of the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association. “With Argentum’s tool now covering every one of Pennsylvania’s state senators and state representatives, our members can extend an invitation with a few clicks and count on PALA to help make each visit a productive one. This is exactly the kind of partnership that translates into stronger policy for our residents, our workforce, and our providers.”

The Invite Your Lawmaker Toolkit matches a senior living community’s address with the elected officials who represent it, generates a customizable invitation letter, and provides a pre-addressed email pathway to each lawmaker’s scheduling contact. By simplifying the outreach process, the tool helps community leaders engage directly with policymakers and build relationships that can support meaningful advocacy.

“Meaningful policy change starts with lawmakers who have seen the reality of senior living firsthand,” said James Balda, president and CEO of Argentum. “Our members do extraordinary work every day, and the more elected officials who walk through the doors of a community and meet the residents and professionals inside, the better our policy conversations become. Expanding the Invite Your Lawmaker tool to state legislators — starting with Virginia and Pennsylvania, and with more states to follow — gives our members and state partners a practical, no-cost way to build those relationships at the level of government where so many decisions affecting seniors are made.”

Additionally, the Congressman was introduced to “I Love Senior Living” a national storytelling and social media movement launched by Argentum and owners and operators of senior living communities to celebrate the people, relationships, and experiences that make senior living meaningful.

The expanded Invite Your Lawmaker Toolkit is available at invites.argentum.org and is free to use for anyone in the senior living community. Additional states will be added in the coming quarters as Argentum works with its state partners to integrate more legislator data.

The visit took place on October 21, 2026 at Revelle Senior Living at Bucks County, 945 York Road, Warminster, PA.
