She was selected to participate in the 19th Annual Future Leaders of Long-Term Care in America program, hosted by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). In addition, she was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Delaware Health Care Facilities Association (DHCFA), where she is actively involved in legislative advocacy and policy discussions aimed at strengthening long-term care in the state.

Leslie’s professional path began with a degree in dietetics. Early in her career, she served as a registered dietitian in a large healthcare system. Driven by a desire to expand her impact, Leslie pursued additional credentials to become a licensed healthcare administrator. Leadership on the National and State Stage
Leslie’s recent selection to the AHCA/NCAL Future Leaders program is a testament to her dedication and forward-thinking approach. The year-long program, now in its 19th year, is designed to cultivate leadership potential among professionals in long-term care. Participants engage in in-depth learning experiences that strengthen their skills and prepare them to take on key leadership roles at both the state and national levels.
Leslie’s other recent honor, her appointment to the Board of Directors of the DHCFA, has opened the door for her to influence healthcare policy more directly. In this role, she is contributing to advocacy efforts that support the sustainability and quality of Delaware’s long-term care system. Her voice is helping to shape conversations that affect thousands of residents and care providers across the state.
