PHOENIX (May 13, 2025) – Sagewood, a Life Care Services (LCS) community featuring a resort-style setting in Phoenix, recently hired Maria Rohrbacher as director of administrative services.
In her new role, Rohrbacher will be responsible for communications to administration and residents, assist in community updates and support the executive director and associate executive director.
“Maria is going to be a great addition to the Sagewood team with her experience in senior living, eagerness to support staff and residents and her positive attitude,” says Ed Smith, executive director of Sagewood. “In the few weeks since she started, Maria has already proven to be an asset to our team and we are excited to watch her continued growth.”
Prior to starting her career, Rohrbacher earned her bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management and advertising from Northern Arizona University.
“I have always had a passion for working with seniors since volunteering at a local hospice,” says Rohrbacher. “Connecting with residents brings me so much joy and teaches me life lessons that I continue to carry. This job is especially rewarding because no day is ever the same which makes it easy to come back to work and learn new things about the community and residents.”
