Presented through the Argentum AI Leadership Institute in partnership with SAVANT-AI, the virtual Sprint gave participants an opportunity to move beyond conversations about AI’s potential and begin applying it to real organizational needs.
Over three focused sessions totaling eight hours, participants explored how artificial intelligence works, identified relevant senior living use cases, and gained firsthand experience with tools that can improve productivity, strengthen workflows, support financial performance, and give employees more time to focus on higher-value work.
Moving from Ideas to Application
The AI Sprint was created specifically for senior living leaders and teams, recognizing that organizations need more than a general understanding of AI to use it effectively and responsibly.
Throughout the program, participants worked directly with AI tools and began developing resources and approaches they can continue using within their organizations. The experience included creating a custom AI assistant, exploring integrations, and gaining early exposure to agent-building tools.
Participants also received an Argentum AI Leadership Index score, personalized recommendations, practical playbooks, reference materials, and recordings of each session. Together, these resources provide a foundation for continuing the work, sharing knowledge with colleagues, and identifying the next steps toward broader organizational adoption.
The cross-functional nature of the Sprint was especially valuable. Because AI affects nearly every part of an organization, from operations and technology to human resources, finance, marketing, legal, and risk management, the program helped participants consider both the opportunities and the responsibilities associated with implementation.
A Practical Pathway for Senior Living
The Sprint is a central component of Argentum’s broader AI Leadership Institute, an initiative designed to help senior living leaders assess readiness, build practical capability, and apply AI thoughtfully across their organizations.
The Institute is structured as a pathway rather than a single course or presentation. Its components help leaders progress from awareness and assessment to education, experimentation, and real-world application.
The AI Leadership Index evaluates an individual leader’s current understanding, confidence, and readiness to lead through AI-driven change. The AI Maturity Index looks more broadly at organizational strategy, governance, workforce readiness, technology, and the ability to implement AI responsibly.
The AI Sprint builds on those assessments by giving leaders the practical experience needed to begin turning insight into action.
“This partnership creates a practical pathway for leaders to better understand AI, evaluate opportunities, and take the next right steps for their organizations,” said James Balda, President and CEO of Argentum. “We are proud to support the senior living industry as it builds AI capability in a way that is thoughtful, responsible, and useful.”
Building Readiness for What Comes Next
AI capabilities will continue to evolve, but senior living organizations do not have to wait for the technology to become completely settled before preparing for its impact. At the same time, moving forward without clear goals, appropriate safeguards, or organizational alignment can create unnecessary risk.
The opportunity lies in building the knowledge, systems, policies, and confidence needed to evaluate AI as it develops. Organizations that begin strengthening those capabilities now will be better positioned to identify valuable applications, make informed decisions, and implement new tools responsibly.
The first full AI Sprint demonstrated what is possible when senior living leaders have the time, guidance, and practical resources to explore AI together. Participants left with more than ideas. They gained tools, experience, and a clearer pathway for putting AI to work within their organizations.
Additional AI Sprints are being planned. Watch for information about the next opportunity to move from AI curiosity to practical capability through the Argentum AI Leadership Institute. Learn more about the Institute and upcoming programs at argentum.org/ai-leadership-institute.
