SOLON, OH, JULY 15, 2026 — Tarkett, a world leader in innovative and sustainable flooring solutions, will now offer six of its most popular Johnsonite® Millwork Wall Base® profiles in the company’s non-PVC Baseworks® thermoset rubber material. The new Baseworks Millwork collection achieves the rich architectural detail of Millwork Wall Base in a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver solution.
“For customers who prefer non-PVC solutions, Baseworks Millwork Wall Base achieves the look of finely milled wood, while preserving forestry and conserving installation and maintenance costs over the life of the product,” said Michael Mathews, senior vice president of commercial strategy for Tarkett.
Baseworks Millwork is easy to install and never requires touch-up or repainting, so it continues to conserve resources throughout its lifetime. Johnsonite’s thermoset rubber provides excellent flexibility for standard, curved or column installations. Its surface resists fading, cracking and will not shrink or separate from the wall.
The profiles featured in the Baseworks Millwork line include Reveal®, Stance, Inflection, Mandalay, Monument and Equinox, ranging from 4″ to 5.25″ heights. They are each available in 10 of Johnsonite’s most popular wall base colors, all made without dye lots: Black, Burnt Umber, Charcoal, Pebble, Moon Rock, Grey, Silver Grey, White, Brown and Fawn. The collection further builds on Johnsonite’s industry-leading portfolio, which offers the broadest selection of wall base colors, profiles, materials and price points.
As with all Johnsonite products, the collection is Made in America, FloorScore Certified and part of Tarkett’s ReStart® take-back and recycling program.
