Vivere Life Launches Innovative Brain Health Pilot for Assisted Living Residents atLongview, Texas Community

[current_event_date]

LONGVIEW, TX — Vivere Life, the recently launched premium senior living brand from Sodalis Living, today announced the launch of an innovative brain health pilot program for assisted living residents at its community in Longview, Texas.

Developed in partnership with BrainBoosters of America, the initiative is based on a simple philosophy: improving brain health should be easy, enjoyable, social, and meaningful. The program leverages scientific wellness to help assisted living residents strengthen and maintain cognitive health through a comprehensive approach that combines cognitive stimulation, physical activity, social engagement, lifelong learning, and other evidence-based practices associated with healthy brain aging. The Longview community will serve as the initial pilot site for the program, which is intended to evaluate both resident outcomes and organizational impact before potential expansion to additional Vivere Life and Sodalis Living communities.

“Today’s older adults and their families expect more than traditional senior living. They want communities that actively support healthy aging, engagement, and quality of life,” said Terry Rogers, Chief Executive Officer of Sodalis Living and Vivere Life. “We believe we owe it to our residents to strive to make it easy and enjoyable for them to measurably enhance their cognitive health. Our partnership with BrainBoosters of America represents an important step toward that vision, and we are excited to launch this pilot in Longview.”

According to research conducted by Love & Company involving more than 1,600 older adults on the prospect lists of senior living communities, respondents were asked to rank eight aging-related concerns. Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and cognitive decline emerged as the number one concern. In addition, 94 percent of respondents said that access to a strong brain health program would positively influence their decision to move into a senior living community.

“Those findings reinforced what we were already hearing from residents and families,” said Shelby Anderson, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Vivere Life and Sodalis Living. “Older adults are increasingly looking for practical ways to protect and enhance their cognitive health, but they want those opportunities to be engaging and enjoyable rather than clinical or intimidating. That’s one of the things that attracted us to BrainBoosters. Their approach is built around making brain health improvement easy and fun while remaining grounded in science. We will be carefully measuring the impact of the program on resident satisfaction, cognitive wellness indicators, clinical outcomes, family perceptions, occupancy, referrals, and other key business metrics.”

“We are thrilled to have been selected as the pilot site for this important initiative,” said Zac Gomez, Executive Director of Vivere Life Longview. “Adult children often express concerns about their parents’ cognitive health and want to know that we are doing everything possible to help them thrive. This pilot gives us an opportunity to offer residents a fun, engaging, and evidence-based approach to brain health while carefully measuring its impact on resident well-being, satisfaction, and quality of life.”

“BrainBoosters of America was founded on a simple premise: improving brain health should not feel like a chore,” said Ted Teele, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BrainBoosters of America. “It should be easy, enjoyable, social, and meaningful. We are thrilled to partner with Terry, Shelby, Zac, and the innovative team at Vivere Life and Sodalis Living. Together, we hope to demonstrate that when brain health improvement is made easy and fun, residents are more likely to participate, benefit, and thrive.”

The BrainBoosters program integrates proven cognitive wellness practices into everyday community life. Residents participate in a variety of activities, experiences, challenges, and social opportunities designed to support multiple dimensions of brain health while fostering connection, purpose, and fun.

Program outcomes will be tracked throughout the pilot to evaluate resident participation, satisfaction, cognitive wellness indicators, family feedback, and business performance metrics. If successful, the Longview pilot could serve as a model for how senior living providers can address one of the greatest concerns of older adults while simultaneously enhancing resident engagement, differentiation, and overall community performance.
