Argentum hit the ground running this year with successful Public Policy Fly-In to advance priorities of increasing access and affordability of senior living and addressing the industry’s workforce challenges. Meetings were held with the White House, Federal Housing Commissioner, and Chairman of the Senate Aging Committee, along with a reception featuring over a dozen lawmakers and more than 100 meetings across Capitol Hill by senior living advocates amplifying our message.
The first quarter lays the groundwork for our success throughout the year, as we advance policy priorities to promote longevity and socialization, help seniors pay for care, and reduce workforce shortages. As lawmakers decide next steps for advancing a new budget reconciliation package and annual appropriations, and other legislation, we will continue to advocate for policies that will have a meaningful impact for senior living communities, residents, and workers.
